Visit San Lorenzo de El Escorial and enjoy the spectacular views from the Valley of the Fallen, all accompanied by our expert guide.
Starting from Calle Ferraz, we will embark on a bus tour of approximately one hour to reach San Lorenzo de El Escorial where we will take a walk through the historic center of town, passing through the park of Philip II we will comment on those reasons that led the monarch to order the construction of the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial back in the sixteenth century. We will walk through its surroundings, admiring the exteriors of this impressive monument. We will discover many of its secrets, such as "The legend of the golden bricks", as well as some of the anecdotes that the King starred in this town in Madrid.
Then, about ten minutes by bus, we will go to the Valley of the Fallen, where we will appreciate the cross of more than 150 meters high and the Basilica carved into the rock of the mountain and of course we will enjoy spectacular views of the mountains of Madrid. We include the entrance to the monument so you can enjoy its peculiar corners (guided tour inside not included).
Once the visit is over, we will return to Madrid. Upon arrival (14:00 hrs approx.) the visit will end at Plaza España.
