Toledo was the capital of Spain in the Gothic period, until 1560 when the capital was moved to Madrid. This explains the AWESOME MEDIEVAL ARCHITECTURE that it has. Walking through it is like making a TIME TRAVEL and land in the Middle Ages, in the best sense of the word.

Spanish City declared WORLD HERITAGE. The city tour is done entirely on foot, enjoying this beautiful city and now headquarter of the Cardinal Primate and where the painter El Greco, lived most of his life.
