Activity: day trip to Gibraltar from Seville

Departure time: 8.00AM at Excursions Office (Avenida de la Constitución 5, 41004 Seville). Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour begins with your voucher in order to check in

Arrival time and point: at 6.00PM approximately back in Seville city centre

Duration: 10 hours approximately depending on the pick up point selected

According to Greek mythology, Heracles put up two columns in the Straits of Gibraltar. That is why this point is considered the legendary gate between Africa and Europe, just where Gibraltar was founded. 

During this unforgettable journey that combines history, multiculturalism, duty free shopping, impressive caves and the funny and famous monkeys of Gibraltar, you will enjoy this eclectic city. Once we have crossed the frontier, we will start a panoramic visit that includes ''Punta de Europa''. From this spot, that is the most southern place in Europe, we will be even able to contemplate the continent of Africa and admire the magnificient views of the Spanish and Moroccan coastlines from the top of the Rock.

We will visit the amazing caves of San Miguel too, followed by the unique opportunity of accompanying the funny and famous monkeys of Gibraltar, a unique breed of monkeys in Old Europe. Legend says that the British people will not leave Gibraltar while there are monkeys there.

Then you will have some free time for yourself. You can have some lunch at that moment or maybe you prefer to explore the bustling pedestrian streets of Gibraltar. Shopping is great along the busy Main Street, a place where you can find everything! Shopping in Gibraltar is known worldwide as jewelry, watches, electronic items, spirits, cosmetics and perfumes can be found at low rates. Also, there are cafes and bars offering a welcome relief for the visitors.
