Granada City Tour is the only official Hop-on Hop-off sightseeing train in Granada with a see-through roof so you can enjoy a panoramic view.
The Granada City Tour tourist trains are unique in Europe and designed expressly for the city of Granada. These trains, which move at a top speed of 25 kph, have a hybrid electric engine that reduces gas emissions by 40% compared to conventional trains. They can hold 54 passengers and have a space designed for persons with reduced mobility. The trains have a see-through roof in every car to make it easy for all the passengers to look outside. There are also TFT displays and informative brochures with information about the city. The train features an individual audio guide in 12 languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Arabic and Catalan), along with two special channels for children in Spanish and English. In addition, the Granada City Tour tourist trains also have free Wi-Fi so you can go online while riding with, as well as all the cars have heating.
Hop on and off as many times as you wish and make your own way to get to know Granada. You can choose between two different routes: the Day Route and the Night Tour.
On the Day Route you will visit the most important monuments of the city, including the Alhambra. This train will take you to interesting sites throughout the Albaicín, Sacromonte and El Realejo neighbourhoods that played an important role in Granada's history: from Medieval times to the Nasrid dynasty, and from the Christian conquest to modern times.
The Night Tour offers the marvellous opportunity to see Granada after sundown with an interplay of light an shadow that brings a magical perspective to the city and its landmarks. See the Cathedral illuminated by lights or observe the Alhambra in all its glory from San Nicola's Viewpoint.
